What an experience🥳🍾🎉 free shot , the DJ was fun shouting me out as the birthday girl and my whole table! Janyel our waitress took care of us patient and attentive. Happy hour here is the way to go their drinks are mixed WELL strong and sweet and the food here is DELICIOUS although expect to wait a while for your food to come out—but it’s worth it big portion and again it’s DELICIOUS. THANK YOU owners, cooks, servers I had a good time

Happy hour at Rum and Tequila was an absolute hit thanks to Lani! From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, quick, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every time we had a question about the menu or a specific food item, she gave honest, helpful feedback that made our choices even better. Her drink-making skills were unmatched—each cocktail was crafted perfectly. Most of all, Lani’s authentic personality and warm energy made the experience memorable. Her service was truly top tier. We’ll definitely be back—and asking for Lani!

Happy Hour was very Happy. I was so tipsy I can't remember nobodies name but Ni. It was those damn three Potentials I drank. Yikes.. The service was amazing. The music lit. . The Tostones and Shrimp are worth every bit of its 20.00... Hats off to all the Bartenders and Mixologist, you ladies are truly a vibe. It's nice to see a beautiful black woman holding it down. I haven't been out in a long time, and I had such a blast....I will definitely be back

Stopped for a quick lunch before jumping on the ferry. We had jerk chicken, jerk shrimp, and oxtail, all of which were excellent. Recommend the rum and tequila margarita.

Love this place, Mason is one of the best bartenders. Very friendly and amazing drinks. And the food is amazing. I recommend this place for anyone coming to Bridgeport CT for good food and drinks and entertainment.

I love Rum & Tequila, I usually go here for happy hour or a late solo date, i’ll bring a friend or two other times, or come out for the vibes but the service is always amazing & the food? the jerk pork is my favorite, the shrimp tostones are delicious, the wings, what I appreciate is that they consistently deliver everytime, 10/10!

Had a great evening at Rum and Tequila tonight with co workers. It’s our go to place for gatherings and they never disappoint. Great food and service as usual. Really enjoyed our Holiday celebration!

Found this place while trying to figure out a place to eat near the Stress Factory Comedy spot and it did not disappoint. As soon as we went in Natasha greeted us from the bar along with smiles from the other servers and bartenders. Ordered the Chicken tostones, Pineapple Salmon, Beef Empanadas both with Rice and beans…and everything was incredibly tasty. Natasha made me these spicy jalapeño margaritas to die for and she was so sweet with us and offering up other drinks to try…she was great. Vivian (I believe) our waitress was just as kind, attentive and offered up some advice on the comedy place next door. When you first drive by you can’t tell if this place is open but I think it’s because of the window coverings..so we almost didn’t stop…we went around a second time just in case and decided to give it a try and so glad we did. We are definitely going back and can’t understand why this place isn’t more packed than what it was…and by the way good music…a little bit of current and old school, hip hop, rnb, reggae…even Spanish music…it’s a 45min drive and I will definitely be making it again.

My family and I went to Rum & Tequila for brunch at a friend's recommendation! What a treat!!! We arrived about 5 minutes before opening and were greeted by Carla whom graciously opened the doors. She indicated that we would be served Brunch drinks by Kay shortly after set up was completed. While waiting, Carol went over the menu items and then Kay informed us about the brunch flights that were offered. We weren't expecting too much but when Kay arrived with our fights....BOY OH BOY! What an experience! My family member had the margarita flights and I had the summer flight (which was a collaboration of beverages mixed with top shelf drinks). We placed our food orders and were even more pleased with our selections of chicken and waffles, red snapper and a vegetarian dish. As we were eating, the DJ arrived and began playing music to further enhance an already stupendous experience. This place is quite a Bridgeport treasure and we look forward to returning!!☺️💛

Food was Excellent, Beef Empenadas were my favorite! Gerber our waiter was Amazing! Music was so fun! Rum punch was perfect!
